Priciest Password Manager
Utilisateur Mac
Unless you get a substantial discount, it's overpriced in the US and it's default settings can make it rather obtrusive.

They missed some vital features
Utilisateur Windows
Dashlane is a great password manager, it stores my passwords securely, generates strong passwords for me, checks if I have recurring passwords, checks how secure my passwords are. and it even searches for leaked passwords! What more could you want?

Well ....2 Factor Authentication is a MUST for anyone serious about their security, this paired with a strong password is the perfect combo. Not only does it lack this, IT LACKS THE ABILITY TO MINIMISE POPUPS ON THE BROWSER EXTENSION! This is extremely annoying as it feels as if it forces you to do something. I was not able to see all the options or the fine print for a recent payment due to Dashlane's "Generate a strong password" popup getting in the way, the funny thing is, the field i...Afficher davantage

Received an email... New device added... Not by me.... I can no longer access my account no way no how. There is nothing in their tech area if this happens to you.... Getting rid of dashlane going to another more intelligent company. I had to block my cards and lost all of my accounts. After paying for dashlane, they decided to change their billing to monthly payments..... Voiding the original agreement. Typical strong arm corporate America.

Dashlane awful software and customer service
Utilisateur iOS
I used Dashlane business for my company, as a password manager it was awful, my entire team had issues with it and wasted countless hours trying to work with it. It would generate passwords and not save them, and when using with Firefox on Linux it would never auto fill. I requested a refund after 3 months in to a 12 month contract and they refused to give the refund even tho we are not going to be using their terrible software. Please do not get Dashlane there are much better and cheaper password managers out there.

THEY SUCK
Utilisateur Mac
I started to set myself up on Dashlane and ran into some troubles and tried over and over to fix it with all the options I could find. I tried time and time again to reach out to someone HUMAN for help at the company and got endless stupid emails back from them. I stopped looking at them because it was driving me crazy. Every company should have a human way to deal with customers for a senior like myself who didn't grow up with a computer in their hands by the age of three!

Poor support for commonly used websites
Utilisateur Mac
Many of the sites we use on a regular basis (e.g., amazon, staples, etc) are not supported by Dashlane. What a major disappointment. The features are great but the inability to take advantage of Dashlane for what should be supported websites is mind boggling.

Unreachable at times
Utilisateur Windows
When it works it's good, but outages are unacceptable. Sometimes the service can't be reached, you can't login, so you cant access your credentials which is a major pain. Stop adding features and work on reliability. If you do need to go offline for maintenance, notify users beforehand by push notification or urgent email.

Dashlane fails horribly
Utilisateur Windows
You will be lucky if you can get dashlane to work anywhere near consistent for 6 months let alone a year, you will be lucky if you get live support, 50% of users are now complaining about dashlanes absolute failures as a password manager

Does everything, but not the main thing
Utilisateur Windows
Dashlane is a feature-packed password manager with all the bells and whistles. But it absolutely sucks at the one thing you get password manager for. Its sync is straight horrible. You change the password on one device and it doesn't propagate to your other devices sometimes for half a day! This is very frustrating, especially when using strong auto-generated passwords. I was locked out of my Facebook several times because I changed my password on one PC and my phone and laptop dashlane still remembered only the old one.
Dashlane also loves to create duplicate login sets for one website, leading to confusion about which is which. It also somehow cannot fill my login properly on my internet banking login form, filling it in without a dot (e...Afficher davantage

2FA is unavailable
Utilisateur Mac
Please confirm that other leading password managers include 2FA in the Cloud and for this reason, if I lose my cell phone, there is no need to reinstall all 2FA accounts again. This is the major defect. Dashlane should have known this and make this available. A second defect is that Dashlane does not seem to know Traditional Chinese characters for Taiwan when I visit these sites and try to log in with Dashlane passwords.
